We are looking for an Application DBA to join our dynamic team!
As an Application DBA, you will own the databases that power our products and work closely with our R&D, DevOps and Support teams.
Responsibilities
• Designing and maintaining large scale databases and data structures
• Writing, tuning and optimizing queries, stored procedures and indexes
• Monitoring performance, identifying bottlenecks and improving response times
• Investigating and resolving database issues in production and development environments
• Partnering with developers on the data layer design of new features
• Working across Linux and Windows environments, as well as cloud infrastructure
• Maintaining documentation, data integrity and best practices
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience as an Application DBA working with SQL Server
• Proven experience with large scale databases, including design, query writing, optimization and troubleshooting of complex SQL queries
• Experience with Oracle
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Strong SQL skills
• Hands on experience with both Linux and Windows
• Experience with cloud infrastructure: an advantage
• Experience with at least one programming language: an advantage
• Excellent English, written and verbal
